Dr. John Lavagnino, Reader in Digital Humanities at King’s College London.
Dr. John Lavagnino edited the publication Thomas Middleton: The Collected Works, which won the Modern Language Association’s Prize for a Distinguished Scholarly Edition in 2009.
The Lecture
Thomas Middleton, the great Jacobean playwright.
Many have argued Middleton was admitted to Gray’s Inn in either 1593 or 1596. The admission rolls in the Gray's Inn Archives record the name of Thomas Middleton in both years. Which one, or even if one, is the Thomas Middleton remains open to debate.
