New Practitioner Advocacy and Ethics Course for all New Practitioners within the first three years of tenancy (also known as the NPP Programme).

Date: Friday 19 to Sunday 21 May plus preceding case analysis session, 6:00pm, Thursday 4 May at Gray’s Inn
Time: 6:30pm Friday to 2:00pm Sunday
Location: Gray's Inn, London
Cost: £125 (includes all meals)
Areas of law: Civil, criminal and family exercises with expert witnesses (psychiatrists)
This course fulfils the CPD compulsory course requirement
- 9 advocacy CPD hours
- 3 ethics CPD hours
- 4 CPD hours
Total: 16 CPD hours. All new practitioners must complete 45 CPD hours in total within their first three years of tenancy.

18:00 - 20:00: A preparatory case analysis session at the Inn
Friday 19 May
17:45: Registration (sandwiches and drinks will be available)
18:00: Welcome talks
18:15: Discussion: aims and objectives
20:15: Drinks in the Bridge Bar
Saturday 20 May
9:30: Start of advocacy and ethics exercises
18:30: End of advocacy and ethics exercises
Sunday 21 May
8:45: Start of advocacy exercises
