This advocacy day is a unique opportunity for university students who are interested in a career at the bar and are not yet members of an Inn of Court.  The event is free of charge with subsidised travel. Places are limited.

Programme: talks on advocacy, scholarships, the role of the Inns  and a reception in Hall hosted by The Treasurer, Lady Hale (President of the Supreme Court) 

Talk on Advocacy from Michael Fordham QC of Blackstone Chambers

Talks from Master of Students, Ali Bajwa QC, Master of Scholarships and Director of Education  

Advocacy and ethics training with barristers such as Michael Fordham QC of Blackstone Chambers, Ali Bajwa QC of Garden Court Chambers, Marion Smith QC of 39 Essex Chambers, Helen Mountfield QC of Matrix Chambers, Eason Rajah QC of Ten Old Square Chambers, Siobhan Grey of Doughty Street Chambers, Sally Ann Hales QC of Red Lion Chambers, Ijeoma Omambala of Old Square Chambers, Matthew Butt of 3 Raymond Building 

Reception in Hall hosted by The Treasurer, Lady Hale (President of the Supreme Court)
