Banqueting and Venue Hire

Banqueting can host Covid Secure weddings for up to 15 people (with no reception). Other events are not currently allowed under Tier 4 restrictions.
Future bookings for Covid Secure Events such as weddings, corporate meetings and filming can be taken and will be subject to Covid restrictions on the date of the event.
Gray’s Inn is certified as ‘Good to Go’ by Visit England.
Health and safety guidelines are in place, including hand sanitiser stations, NHS track and trace app QR codes, one way systems, 2m distancing.
The Inn offers members, tenants and the public the finest facilities and catering for weddings, meetings, conferences, corporate and private event hire.
The Inn’s Banqueting Department will consult with you to meet your requirements and plan your event down to the finest detail.
Members of the Inn are entitled to a discount on the room hire for their events!

The Burghley Lounge
The Burghley Lounge is currently closed due to Covid tier restrictions.
The Inn’s historic Hall is the heart of the Inn for its members and contains paintings, shields and stained glass windows dating back to the 15th century. It can offer a large yet intimate space for any wedding, ball, corporate dinner or drinks reception and is licensed for civil weddings.
The main entrance to Hall is located in South Square.
The Rose Heilbron Room
An air conditioned and modern meeting room fully equipped with the latest video and teleconferencing facilities, a projector and screen. To accommodate a larger audience, a link can also be established between this room and the Bingham Room. Complementary WiFi is included.
The Rose Heilbron Room is located on the ground floor at 10 South Square.
The Benchers’ Library
A small, quiet and atmospheric room ideal for meetings, private lunches and dinners.
The Benchers’ Library is located on the first floor via the Benchers’ Entrance in South Square.
The Large Pension Room
A large and bright room with a number of ornate chandeliers and a marble fireplace. The Large Pension Room is licensed for civil weddings.

The Small Pension Room
This attractive oak panelled room contains a beautiful mahogany table and is ideally sized for small board meetings and private dinners.

The Bingham Room
A versatile room equipped with a PA system, screen and projector to meet any audio visual requirements. It is suitable for boardroom meetings, seminars, drinks receptions and dinners.
The Bingham Room is located on the first floor at 10 South Square.
The Bridge Bar
Open to members, tenants and residents of the Inn, the Bridge Bar can provide a light and comfortable location for informal breakfast meetings or lunch. It is ideally located to be used as drinks reception pre or post meeting in the Bingham Room.

The Marquee in the Walks
The marquee will not be available in the Summer of 2020 due to COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus).
The Inn’s gardens are known as the Walks and each year, usually from late June to late July, the Summer Marquee is erected. The Marquee provides an idyllic summer setting for a variety of events from corporate parties to weddings and outdoor events.
