We encourage all students, barristers and judges of the Inn to get involved and make the Inn’s activities a part of their professional and social lives.
As a member of the Inn, you have access to various facilities which include lunch in Hall, parking, the Bridge Bar, room hire and accommodation.
There are various opportunities, clubs and societies, schemes and events which allow all members to be active in all aspects of the Inn’s affairs. We strongly encourage you do so as the Inn cannot thrive without the input of its members.
Members can book for most events at the Inn by logging in to the Gray’s Inn Online System (GIOS). Non-members can register for a GIOS account to book events available to non-members.
Events have long provided, and continue to provide, excellent occasions for you to socialise with fellow members of the Inn. Many events are also Qualifying Sessions for students or CPD hours (Continuing Professional Development) for barristers.
Lunch in Hall is served daily during term and open to all members of the Inn and their guests. Discounts are available for students and pupils of the Inn.
The Bridge Bar is open to all members and tenants of the Inn during term and offers a satisfying and varied selection of drinks and food including breakfast and lunch.
The Inn has 9 self-contained accommodation units available for its members and members of the other Inns who have been called to the Bar. Student members of the Inn are eligible to book.
There are approximately 240 car parking spaces around the Inn available to all members and tenants.
Special room hire rates are available for members looking to hire the Inn for meetings, conferences, weddings, corporate or private events. To explore the rooms and get in touch for further details regarding rates, visit the Inn’s Venue Hire website
