Membership Cards

To replace your membership card, please complete the form below.

To update your details and contact preferences, please visit your GIOS account (Gray’s Inn Online System). You can update your details at any time. Your information will be processed in accordance with our Data Protection Policy.

We advise you to update your details via your GIOS account prior to requesting a replacement membership card.

If any information you supply on this form does not match with the Inn’s record, you will be contacted by the Inn. 

Please note that membership card requests may take up to 4 weeks should the volume of requests be high. We will make every effort to process your request expediently. 



  • £10 plus postage
  • Postage incurs an additional charge (£5 recorded delivery within the UK)
  • You may collect in person free of charge

On completion of this form please complete payment as soon as possible (payment methods can be found below).

You must submit a recent passport photo with this form. This photo will be used for your new membership card.
Files must be less than 2 MB.
Allowed file types: jpg jpeg png.

Your card will be sent recorded delivery.

You can make payment:

  • in person at the Education Department (by card, cash, cheque or postal order)
  • by post to: The Education Department, 8 South Square, Gray's Inn, London, WC1R 5ET (cheque or postal order only)
    • Cheques should be made payable to 'Gray's Inn'
    • Cash is not accepted via post. 

Please note that your request will not be processed until the Inn has received payment for your replacement card.
