Exhibition: Bertha Cave and the struggle of women to join the legal profession

An exhibition to mark the  Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919. 

Bertha Cave

In March 1903, Bertha Cave applied to join Gray’s Inn. She was rejected because she was a woman. 

This exhibition will release new research about Bertha Cave and her struggle to join the legal profession.
