Qualifying Session
Qualifying Session (QS): 1 QS
Theme: Preparation for pupillage, career development and wellbeing, Legal knowledge
Learning aims:
1. Consider case studies from practitioners on establishing a practice as a junior practitioner
2. Increase awareness of a barrister’s obligations relating to professional and lay client care
3. Identify sources of advice and best practice for practice management
4. Develop a greater awareness of the requirements and demands of self-employment
This QS relates to the following elements of the Professional Statement for Barristers: 1.1, 1.11, 1.16, 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 4.1.1, 4.2
