An informal advocacy session where students receive the moot problem on the night and are given a short time to prepare before arguing their case. The session is designed to help students develop their ability to ‘think on their feet’ in a supportive environment, with feedback from junior practitioners.

Learning aims:
1. Construct arguments through research, analysis and application of legal principles.
2. Demonstrate confidence in advocacy and apply feedback from moot coaches.
3. Apply inter-personal and communication skills to prepare oral presentations both independently and/or as a member of a team
4. Practice responding to judicial interventions.
