Private International Law is not taught on the Bar Course, however many of our members will go on to develop an international practice, where Private International Law is a key component.
This event will discuss Private International Law, conflict of laws and jurisdictional issues. Our panel, consisting of Jessica van de Meer (2TG), Alistair Mackenzie (2TG), Nicholas Leah (3 Hare Court) and Joseph Landman (1KBW), will introduce this area of law and how it relates to their practice. They will also cover key sources of guidance and provide advice to students or junior tenants who wish to develop an international practice.
