Lunch in Hall is open Monday to Friday, 1pm to 2.30pm (last entry at 2pm) to Members of all four Inns, our tenants, residents and their guests. With a daily seasonal menu, you’re sure to find a delicious dish.

All served with Dauphinoise potatoes, steamed green beans and sauteed courgettes

Wednesday

Roast leg of Herdwick lamb with rosemary gravy, redcurrant jelly and mint sauce £16.00

Chermoula marinated trout with farro wheat, green olive and artichoke £13.00

Herb roasted aubergine topped with chickpea tagine (ve) £11.00

All served with roast potatoes, braised red cabbage, glazed carrots and broccoli

Thursday

Sirloin of Cumbrian Beef with gravy, creamed horseradish, English mustard and Yorkshire pudding £16.00

Friday

Slow cooked pork belly with pea and broad bean cous cous and a tomato jus £13.00

  • Lunch is available in Hall, Monday to Friday, 1pm to 2.30pm (last entry at 2pm) during term
  • Student Members of all four Inns can enjoy a 20% discount on food in Hall and discounts are also available for pupils of the Inn (Member ID required)
  • The dress code for The Bridge Bar and Hall is smart casual (as a minimum)
  • Payment is by card only
  • Other than on the Benchers’ table, children over the age of 8 are welcome to attend lunch if accompanied by a supervising adult
  • Advance booking is recommended for groups of 5 or more, please contact the Venue Hire team to book
  • For those with special dietary requirements or allergies who may wish to know more about the food or drink ingredients used, please ask for a manager. We are a nut-free kitchen environment.

Dining in Hall at Inn events is an integral part of life at the Inn and has been for centuries.  The Inn strongly encourages all Members to participate in life at the Inn and regularly dine after they have been called to the Bar.

The Bridge Bar also serves breakfast, lunch and evening menus and is open:

  • Mondays & Fridays: 9am – 9pm
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9am – 10.30pm
