Please see information about the roles, applications, and deadlines (PDF) and the Style Guide for submissions (PDF)
What is the Student Law Journal?
The Gray’s Inn Student Law Journal is an annual collection of legal essays, case comments, and book reviews, written by student Members of Gray’s Inn and published online and in print. You can read previous Student Law Journals online or in the Library.
Why Get Involved?
The timeline of the journal is carefully structured around the pupillage window; contributing and/or editing boosts applications by showing you are passionate about the law and capable of thinking critically about it.
This is also the ideal platform to begin a career in academia/contribute to scholarship in a low-pressure environment.
We accept submissions on a myriad of topics. This is a chance to explore areas of law that you may not get the chance to during your studies, or simply to research topics in greater depth.
How to contribute
Email Jennifer Zhou, (AGIS Law Journal Editor) as soon as possible if you are interested in editing/contributing.
The deadline for sub-editor expressions of interest is 7 December 2024.
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. The deadline for submissions is 22 February 2025.
