On 25th November the Inn hosted a reception and prizegiving for the 2024 Gide Loyrette Nouel and Gray’s Inn French/English Law Essay Competition, which is now in its third year. Lady Arden of Heswall, the President of the Franco-British Lawyers’ Association, provided an excellent lecture on legal knowledge, justice and the Rule of Law.
Our winner is Abigail Herron, who is in her final year studying Law with French Law at the University of Leeds and our runner-up is Alia Karam who is training at the École de Formation du Barreau.
