We are pleased to announce that Christian Barrow has been awarded this year’s Ede & Ravenscroft Prize.
This prize recognises a pupil who has exemplified the Inn’s purpose, vision and values throughout their time as a student Member. The award includes a wig and gown generously provided by Ede & Ravenscroft.
We congratulate Christian on this achievement and wish him every success as he continues his journey at the Bar.
Christian is a current pupil barrister (crime) at Guildhall Chambers. We asked him what this Scholarship prize meant for him; he says:
“It’s a really valuable award, the start of pupillage for me and many others starting will involve significant costs, not having a financial burden of purchasing my wig and gown has really helped me manage those costs.
What resonates most strongly with me is the recognition of the experiences and time that I had as a student Member of the Inn, in particular the time I spent working with the education department.”
