It has been several years since Gray’s Inn hosted a Ceilidh. A Ceilidh is a traditional Scottish gathering, involving eating and drinking together in a Hall, with a Scottish band and some dancing.
The Band will be the SuperGrouse. SuperGrouse Reels Band – YouTube
There will be a range of dances: folk, reels, country dances. Each one will be ‘called’ so beginners are most welcome. However, the rehearsal in the Inn on most Thursday nights prior to the Ceilidh do provide the opportunity for all to learn some of the dances that will be on the dance card for the Ceilidh. All are welcome.
Bowl food and soft drinks are included in the ticket price, and a cash bar will be available.
To continue the party, and allow you to recover after dancing the night away, the Bridge Bar will stay open until midnight after this event!
