The Gray’s Inn Barristers’ Committee is the Voice of Hall. It has two permanent representatives on the Inn’s Management Committee and represents all Members of Hall.
The Committee is currently looking to co-opt a member of the Employed Bar to serve for a term of two years (2024 – 2025). If you are an Employed Barrister and interested, please submit a statement no longer than 100 words to chiefofstaff@graysinn.org.uk by no later than Friday 15 December to be considered.
The Committee meets on a regular basis throughout the year at the Inn (eleven meetings in 2023) and a dial in facility is available for those unable to attend in person. Every Member is expected to attend and assist with arranging relevant events (on Circuit or in London), sit on associated sub-committees, engage with the variety of issues that the GIBC deals with on a regular basis and active engagement is required.
