The Statement of Investment Principles is intended to affirm the investment principles that govern decisions about the Scheme’s investments. The Pension and Life Assurance Scheme operates for the exclusive purpose of providing retirement benefits and death benefits to eligible participants and beneficiaries.

The Scheme uses Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) to manage its assets. In appointing LGIM the Scheme’s Trustees had due regard to the Environmental, Social and Governance policies adopted by LGIM.
