The Library Catalogue can be accessed on and off site to search the holdings of Gray’s Inn and Lincoln’s Inn Libraries, and also links to the catalogues of the Inner and Middle Temple Libraries.
There are several major online services available at Gray’s Inn Library. Where law reports and journals are available online, you can link to them direct from the catalogue either in the Library or using your own log in details.
Most of the major legal databases offer free online database training videos, which should provide you with an introduction to material we subscribe to in the Library.
There are also several very useful free online resources that can assist you with your research. Please note that our subscriptions are IP recognised and only available on site via the Library’s computers.
Some of the Library’s subscriptions include a CD element which can be viewed on a dedicated computer terminal located in Bay IV. A full list of CDs available can be referred to in the Library.
Staff are happy to help users with any of these services, and free training sessions (worth CPD points), with the main legal database providers are held each year in the Library. Training sessions will be advertised on the Inn’s Facebook and Twitter pages, in Events, and in the Library.
