    A folio Manuscript from the eleventh century, on 161 leaves. The Library holds the first volume of a four volume set. Includes the lives of 75 saints, whose feast days are from February to June. The volume has been written in Latin by several people and has the pressmark of the Benedictines of Chester.

    The manuscript is bound in wooden boards, which are possibly medieval. It is covered with seventeenth century calf. It has an old rebacking and a brass chain staple.
