Manuscript 12 (MS12) – Sermon on St. John the Evangelist and other texts
A collection of sermons and treatises mostly in Latin but some in French. Other texts in the manuscript include Les Contes Moralizes de Nicholas Bozon in French, Disciplina Clericalis by Petrus Alphonsus and a moral treatise on the seven capital vices.

A folio manuscript from the fourteenth century, on 286 leaves. The manuscript is written in several gothic hands. The third text concerns a Norman knight who helped a wolf beset by Royal English hunting dogs while the king was hunting in Normandy. The text includes annotations in the margins speculating which knight or bishop the story could refer to. The work of Nicholas Bozon includes fables and stories, drawn from Indian Fables, Aesop, and the History of the Seven Sages.
The manuscript is bound in seventeenth century calf. It has been rebacked and there is a brass chain staple.
