The Sermones Dominicales are a collection of Sunday sermons. The other works in the manuscript are a compendium on theological truth, which is divided into seven books and a work on the poison of the seven capital sins by Robert Grosseteste.

A folio manuscript from the fifteenth century, on 229 leaves. The volume is in Latin and evidently written by one hand, believed to be Thomas Boteler. The manuscript is written in small cursive script with red and blue penwork initials.
Robert Grosseteste, the author of the third folio, was Bishop of Lincoln from 1234 – 1253. This work can also be found in MS.23
On the last leaf is a Latin note of the meeting of Parliament at Bury St. Edmund’s in February 1447, the death of the Duke of Gloucester in that month, and a direction in English for cleaning spectacles.
The manuscript is bound in original tawed leather over wooden boards and has been rebacked with brown goatskin. It has a brass chain staple.
