A small folio manuscript from the eleventh or twelfth century. It is on 103 leaves. This illuminated manuscript is in Latin and appears to be written by multiple scribes. It features decorated penwork, including an elaborate H at the start, and ornate colourful capitals throughout in red, purple and green. It was produced in the Benedictine Abbey of St. Werberg, Chester.
The manuscript is bound in seventeenth century calf. It has been rebacked and has a brass chain staple.
