Foundations supports students at the start of their Bar studies.
Students undertake several targeted sessions during Michaelmas, focussed on the skills, knowledge and experiences needed to secure pupillage. This is a fantastic opportunity to benefit from the insight of a practising barrister, to help you make the most of your time as a student and accelerate your career.

To be eligible for the scheme you must:
- Be a new GDL or Bar Course student.
- Intend to practice at the Bar of England & Wales.
- Have attended a UK non-selective state school or meet other social mobility indicators.
- Have had no or limited previous access to legal work experience or opportunities.
